DECODING ERROR CODES MERCEDES SPRINTER

Indicates an excessively high fuel pressure due to a broken regulator.

 

FAULT P0101

Occurs when the mass air flow sensor breaks down. The reason should be sought in wiring problems or damaged vacuum hoses.

 

P012C - CODE

Indicates a low signal from the turbocharger pressure sensor. In addition to blocking the air filter, damage to the wiring or insulation, corrosion, often leads to a problem.

 

CODE 0105

A breakdown has occurred in the MAP sensor circuit. Pay particular attention to the wiring.

P0652 - CODE

The voltage in the "B" circuit of the sensors has dropped too much. It appears due to a short circuit, sometimes in damage to the wiring.

 

CODE P1188

Appears when the high pressure pump valve is faulty. The reason lies in the damage to the electrical circuit and pump breakdowns.

 

P1470 - CODE SPRINTER

The turbine control valve is not working correctly. It appears due to failures in the auto circuit.

 

P1955 - MALFUNCTION

Problems arose in the glow plug module. The glitch lies in the contamination of the particulate filters.

 

ERROR 2020

Talking about problems with the intake manifold actuator position sensor. Check wiring and sensor.

 

CODE 2025

The malfunction is associated with the fuel vapor temperature sensor or the steam trap itself. The reason must be sought in the breakdown of the controller.

R2263 - CODE

On a Sprinter with an OM 651 engine, error 2263 indicates excessive pressure in the turbocharging system. The problem lies not in the cochlea, but in the boost sensor.

 

CODE 2306

Appears at a low signal from the ignition coil "C". The main reason is a short circuit.

 

2623 - CODE SPRINTER

The MAF sensor is biased at idle. Check for broken or damaged wiring.

 

CODE 2624

Appears when the signal from the injector control pressure regulator is too low. The reason lies in the short circuit.

 

2633 - CODE SPRINTER

Indicates too low a signal from the fuel pump relay "B". The problem happens due to a short circuit.

 

FAULT 5731

This software error occurs even on a perfectly serviceable car. You just need to erase it.

9000 - BREAKAGE

Appears in case of problems in the operation of the steering position sensor. It will need to be replaced.

 

SPRINTER: HOW TO CLEAR ERRORS

Removal of faults is carried out using a diagnostic scanner or manually. Everything happens automatically after selecting the appropriate menu item. Manual erasing occurs according to the following procedure:

  • start the car engine;
  • close the first and sixth contacts of the diagnostic connector for no less than 3 and no more than 4 seconds;
  • open contacts and wait 3 seconds;
  • close again for 6 seconds.

The error is then cleared from the machine's memory. A simple reset of the negative terminal for at least 5 minutes is also suitable.
