PROBLEMS WHEN STARTING THE ENGINE
The fuel is thick and does not flow.
Check fuel tank and fuel filter.
Remove water, dirt and other contaminants.
After all the fuel has been filtered by filter, if in filter there will be water or other foreign substances, clean the filter with kerosene.
Air or water mixed in fuel system.
If in the fuel filter or lines injection there is air, the fuel pump is not
functions normally.
To achieve the required injection pressure fuel, make sure there is no loosening
loosened fuel line fittings cap nuts, etc.
Loosen the connecting bolt of the fuel filter and screws for air outlet on
fuel injection pump for complete removal of air from the fuel system.
The valve clearance is not corresponds to the given one.
Adjust valve clearance to 0.13-0.17mm (0.005-0.0067 in.) With a cold engine.
Leaking valves.
Rub the valve.
Injection timing fuel does not match given.
Check injection timing.
Engine oil thickens in cold weather and the engine starts slowly.
Change the type of oil to suit the weather (temperature).
Low compression
A defective valve or excessive wear on rings, pistons and liners will result in insufficient compression. Replace parts with new ones.
The battery is discharged and the engine will not start.
Charge the battery. In winter, always remove the battery from the car, charge it fully and store it indoors. Install in the car during use.
Insufficient compression. Leaking valves.
Defective valve or excessive wear rings, pistons and liners lead to insufficient compression. Replace parts new. Grind the valves
Not enough fuel. y Check the fuel system.
Overheating of moving
parts.
Check the oil lubrication system. Make sure the lube oil filter is works correctly. Filter element with sediment impurities can lead to a deterioration in the quality of the lubricant. Replace element Make sure the bearing clearance matches given. Check injection timing. Adjust sync
Valve clearance is not
corresponds to the given one.
Set the required valve clearance 0.13-0.17 mm (0.005 to 0.0067 in.) Cold engine.
The air cleaner is dirty.
Replace the filter element every 100 hours of operation.
Incorrect fuel injection pressure.
Check injection pressure. 18.63 MPa (190 kgf / cm2, 2702 psi) Fuel pump worn. Do not use poor quality fuel as this causes wear on the pump. Check pump filter element fuel injection and supply valve assembly, when replace them if necessary.
ENGINE STOPS Unexpectedly
Lack of fuel
Check the fuel tank and top up fuel if necessary.
Also check the fuel system for air and leaks.
Bad injector
Install a new nozzle if necessary.
Moving parts are overheated due to lack of lubricating oil or improper lubrication.
Check the amount of engine oil by level gauge.
Check the oil lubrication system.
At every second oil change, it is necessary to replace the oil filter cartridge.
Make sure that the clearances of the motor bearings is within specification.
UNSATISFACTORY EXHAUST COLOR
Fuel flow control device defective
See your dealer for repair.
Fuel of extremely poor quality.
Choose high quality fuel.
The injector is defective.
Install a new nozzle if necessary.
Incomplete combustion.
The reason is poor atomization, incorrect timing of injection, etc. due to problems in the injection system or bad valve adjustments, insufficient compression, insufficient compression, etc. Determine the reason.
SITUATIONS IN WHICH THE ENGINE MUST BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY
The rotation of the motor decreases or increases sharply.
Check settings, injection timing and fuel system.
An unusual sound is suddenly heard.
Check all moving parts carefully.
The color of the exhaust gas suddenly becomes dark.
Check the fuel injection system, especially fuel injection nozzles.
Bearing parts are overheating.
Check the lubrication system.
The oil indicator light comes on during work.
Check the lubrication system.
Make sure the motor bearing clearances are within specification.
Check the operation of the safety valve in the lubrication system.
Check pressure switch. Check the filter base gasket.
ENGINE OVERHEATING
Insufficient engine oil.
Check the oil level. Add oil over
as needed.
Fan belt is torn or lengthened.
Replace the belt or adjust the tension.
Insufficient coolant.
Add coolant.
Excessive concentration of antifreeze.
Add water or change the water content of the coolant according to the specified proportions.
Dust clogged grille or fins.
Thoroughly clean the mesh or ribs.
Internal corrosion of the radiator or coolant passages.
Clean or replace the radiator or its parts
Fan, radiator, or radiator cap is defective.
Replace defective parts.
Thermal relay defective.
Check thermostat and replace if necessary.
Temperature indicator or sensor is defective.
Check the temperature with a thermometer and replace if necessary.
Overload work.
Reduce the load.
Head gasket defective or water leakage.
Replace parts
Incorrect injection timing.
Set up sync correctly.
Unsatisfactory fuel used.
Use the specified fuel.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
Starter does not crank when starting key is turned to ON position
